Phil MacClure has been working with trees since early on. After a certificate in forestry and some work experience logging in Nelson, he returned to the wetlands of Southland to work in silviculture from age 17 on.
His climbing arborist career began in 2016 Wellington where he has worked extensively before returning to his hometown of Invercargill in 2025.
